ok i have tron back seats. And i found back seat in my town. its 40$ and only has little 1" tears (4) on it. I was thinking about buying it and my step dad second guessed me. now im confused what should i do? they are grabber seats and came out of a 74/75 maverick grabber. They will fit mine right? I have a 74 maverick.

They will fit, but I wouldn't give $40 for a seat that's torn.

UP FOR AUCTION IS A TAN LEATHER BACK SEAT. WILL NEED GOOD CLEANING. THERE ARE FOUR SMALL RIPS NO LONGER THAN AN INCH ON THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE BOTTOM SEAT, NOT REAL NOTICEABLE, COULD BE REPAIRED. STITCHES ARE REALLY NICE, NOT COMING APART. NO OTHER TARES OR RIPS. NICE AND FIRM SEATS NOT WORE OUT. THESE CAME OUT OF A 74 // 75 GRABBER. BUT WILL FIT OTHERS. SHIPPING IS $40.00. PLEASE BID WITH CONFIDENCE AND CHECK OUT THE OTHER AUCTIONS. THANKS.

That looks pretty decent for a driver. Looks like an LDO seat. He says shipping alone is $40, but you wouldn't be paying shipping if it's in your own town. I would go check them out in person. Your car is a 2 door right?

Back seats almost never see ANY wear in 2 door models. I would not waste my time on a seat that is torn.

Those seats are probably not the final solution for you if you really want a nice car. Since the cost of recovering those vs your is the same, why waste the $40? Either recover yours or find a nicer one.

A ton of money can be wasted on stop-gap solutions. This is one of those.

That's why I said for a driver. 40 bucks is nothing in the grand scheme of things and if you need a quick fix for a destroyed back seat and something you don't have to ship, that looks like a fine deal to me. If you have any junkyards in your area, I would suggest you check them out first.

im not talking about repairs, im talking about having the rears redone instead of buying another torn one. 100 dollars for the rear seat or 200? guess it depends on what your going to use it for though.

What craig said. you can repair and paint vinyl, but it wont look perfect so it would have to hinge on how picky you think you are:huh:
