thanks for the advice got the brakes back together. Now I'm trying to figure out if I got the carb rebuilt right.I would also like to say that the men who came up with the area that the motor sits in should have there head checked out.I.E. putting in new plugs I mean don't you think the shock towers are just a little to close to the motor.

So I take it you are new to Mavericks & Comets? :D With practice you will get a little faster. I honestly think it's easier now that I have headers on the motor.

To Maverick-Matt what kind of headers did you use.Yes I have only had the car for about 6 mounths a friend of mine bout it for his son and the son did not want it so I jump at the chance to have it.Where in Kc Mo are you I grew up in Op but moved to Lawrence about 10 years ago.And thanks for the advice.

I live up North, just South of Gladstone. I work in OP. :(

I am not 100% certain but I believe they are the Summit brand headers. Plug access is really about the only positive, because access to the header bolts behind the primaries is nearly non-existent. There are better headers out there.

Welocme to the board. Lots of great people here. You'll also find out that removing the valve covers, makes it real easy to change the plugs (45 min or so). Glad you got your brakes back together. Pics, did we tell you we love pics?......
