I have a medium blue maverick that was recently painted and I'm trying to decide if I should add some stripes etc. It is a 74 that will have a black interior. I have a comet GT style hood scoop as well. I was thinking about painting the raised part of the hood and hood scoop flat black similar to the boss 302 mustangs. Then I was thinking about installing black factory grabber stripes along the length of the body. what do you think, can anyone photoshop that?

Razorsharp, I was thinking about the grabber stripe along the side from turn signal lamp to turn signal lamp (72 grabber type stripe). I like the black stripes on the mav in your avatar

You want opinions, so here's mine. Flat black anything sucks. Black takes away from the car. You already have a black interior so why add more black? Flat colors are pain to try to keep clean. Stripes are over done. I say keep it simple, subtle, different, and glossy. Remember, JMO

Thanks...and don't pay any attention to Mavaholic. He's just getting old and senile. :) If you want to get a set of stripes, cheap, there's a company out of Canada that reproduces them and sells them on eBay. I think his reserve is like $59.95. That's the stripes I have on my car and I even bought 2 extra sets for future use. Here's a link to one he has on right now:
