I have a 4 door Maverick that I am restoring and I have run into a brick wall. I painted the car and removed the rear glass to paint and install the headliner. I ordered the back glass weather-stripping from Auto Krafters thinking the 2 door and the 4 door were the same (they aren't ) so now I really need the back glass gasket. does anyone have any suggestions of where I can get one ????? I have called everyone I could find on the internet with no success. The only idea that I can come up with is find one in a junk yard or take two 2 door gaskets and create a 4 door gasket. thanks
Try Craig Selvey. He may have a used one. cselvey@netdirect.net If not, Chuck Stalnaker may have one. Maverick Connection 137 Valley Dr Ripley, WV 25271 (304)372-7825 Seth
Maverick connection Seth, thanks for the info ......do you have another phone number for the Maverick Connection. The number I tried gave said the number is disconnected?
Chuck no longer lives in Ripley. His contact info can also be found on the MCCI club website under "Contact Us". Look him up under the West Virginia State Rep.
Finding a new 4-door rear windshield weather strip is gonna be tough ... here is the part # if you want to have a Ford Dealer or NOS parts house do a search: d1dz5442084a
OK time for bad news. They do not make rear wheatherstripping for 4 dr. Know one has one. Been there done that. If your old one is still somewhat good use that else find one in good condition from a wreck mav. To bad a company cann't start making them for 4 doors. It would be nice.
