    1976 maverick
    i just got a 1976 maverick 2 door Ignition lock but the steering collum is out of a 1974 will the the lock fit my 76 thanks for the help

    Yes, No, Maybe ............. :hmmm:

    There is 1 ignition lock listed for a 1974 and it will fit cars made from 5/14/73 to 2/2/76.

    After 2/2/76 there are 2 locks, neither of which will fit the 1974.

    So it all depends on what 1976 lock you have, as there are 3 of them but only 1 will fit.

    Typical Ford ......... :rolleyes:

    Do you have a part number by chance of the lock you bought?
