    That brings back memories. Thats what my 77' Mav. looked like a few years ago, only it was in our shop and we were doing all the body and paint work to it. It's always neat to see someone else doing the work. Can,t wait to see it when it,s done.:)

    WOW!!! 57 Fairlane 500 2 dr hardtop...Major flashback!!! I had one of those back when I was 16. Put a 390 bored .60 with a 4 speed. Wished i stll had it.

    They are nice cars ... and the Fe blocks are work horses ,vertually indistructable... Ive got a 352 in my galaxie ... No speed demon but i bet i can pull my house off its foundation :0

    How much?

    I was wondering how much for the paint job too. Looks like they are doing a pretty good job removing the windshield and everything. How much body work and/or rust work did it need? How much of the preparation did you do?? I am looking for a paint job soon and am wondering what to expect. Did they strip the old paint? FYI - I'm the guy that bought your parking cable ... So if they do a good job maybe they can paint mine too ... Dan
