Here ya go John...the throttle return springs and bracket can be had from any performance catalog, i ordered off e-bay for 10 bucks and a couple dollars shipping. The actual rod is 1/4" threaded inside a piece of 5/16" brass rigid tubing, this keeps the movement smooth...a heim joint would have been the cats meow to make the connection at the carb, but my hardware store didn't have any so I just used an eye bolt with the long tensioner nut to attach to the threaded rod. attaching the eye bolt to the carb I used a 5/16"x11/4" hex bolt, washer and lock nut, the return spring kit comes with 2 recessed washers to place on each side of the carb linkage hole this allows you to get a good snug connection at the carb with out any binding. My gas pedal was basically in the stock location but mounted on the fabbed firewall, all I did was take the left side bolt and nut off(as viewed from inside the car) and rotate the pedal from what would be the 6 o'clock position to an 8 o'clock position drill a hole and put the nut and bolt back in. The hole at the top of the pedal assembly where the cable was is a perfect size to run the new threaded rod through, locknut on the interior side and I used a threaded rod coupler on the other side for ease of tightening the connection. Then all you do is go back and turn the tensioner to where it's just before pulling the linkage off the idle adjustment screw. I've used it for about 6 passes and everything has stayed in place...the only thing I may need to do is put some nuts on each side of the tensioner but so far it hasn't moved. Trust me, with just a little thought this is a piece of cake and it works great. BTW John...I don't mind sharing these little go faster goodies with you.... Pinky is gonna need all the help she can get
