I really dont get on here much. I pulled the mav out about a month ago since the weather has been nice (nice in Michigan terms....). I dropped about $500 on it with a new set of tires and wheels for the rear. I ruined the front tires in 5000 miles because I never got the negative camber problem fixed....So I took the rears and put them on the front and got a set of 15" wheels and 13" wide Kelly Chargers for the rear. Ive got alot that I would like to do this summer, but right now My biggest problem is the looseness in the front end. right where the pitman arm attatches to the power steering is very loose. its dangerously loose actually....So if anyone has a good used power sterring control valve or complete assembly let me know I'm going to ask in the wanted section as well. just thought Id give out my yearly Hello here. heres som current pics of my Lovely lady:
Very cool looking! The rear tires are nice , but here in the land of fruits and nuts you's get a ticket in a heart beat.
she does look lovely one question though, how does she handle the speed bumps i've been thinking about the side exit duels but i'm afraid of speed bumps messing them up
hey, i dont get on here much but im thinking about parting out a whole front end, it had a new PS control valve on it about 4 years ago, but its only got about 15k miles or less on it. i had that same looseness your talkin about. it was kind of pricey... but make me an offer, isnt doing me any good. also got fairly new Moog upper ball joints, fairly good wheel cylinders.. few other parts. every thing conected to the sub frame..
