Hey all you Comet/Maverick owners. thanks for putting up a great website. I never knew that so many of these great cars were still running around. If anyone knows where I can find a fiberglass hood for a 75 comet GT I awould appreciate the knowledge.

welcome to the board.:Welcome: i got my hood for my maverick from usbody in fla. you might want to forget that. i just saw where your from. the shipping would kill you. mine was about $155 to ship to phoenix. on another note i used to live in ferndale. i lived in a trailer park, behind a place called johnny's market. probably not there anymore. long time ago. i worked for a while in bellingham. :)

    Welcome to the board.
Lots of talk on fiberglass stuff around here...do a search.
I bought mine from unlimited products.....quality was poor. Some have had good luck with them, others have not. They are in Cali. so that might make shipping a little easier on you.
Or you could go with one of the carbon fiber ones Maverick Man is building, the price is high (compared to fiberglass), but I have seen one in person and it is an AMAZING piece!

I agree the "maverick man" hood is a nice piece. seen it at knott's. Only problem is that it is for a maverick and you have a comet, but it will fit. Just wont match the lines of the grill and bumper.
