Welcome! It's great to hear you have had your Grabber for so long. Can't wait to see pictures of it. Is it a 302 or a six cylinder?

It's a 302 with a C4 engine has edelbrock cam and intake, heads have been done over with big valves and port work, 1 5/8 inch headers, plus too many things over the years to remember

    Hi Earl!

Just been busier than a one-armed paper hanger!

Feeling guilty as heck because I haven't been working on my Maverick as much as I should have! She's sitting in the back yard, under a portable garage, looking forelorn saying "drive me!". I start her up once a week, inflate the left rear tire with a slow leak, and try to "exercise" her but its hard to do with a slow leak on the c4 tranny that goes down to nothing over a week. I've searched hell and high water for the leak, but just can't find it. I *suspect* that its on the O-ring around the dipstick, but I wouldn't think that even that would be serious enough to drain the tranny.

Anyways, I'm back when I can and yes, I'm still doing powder coating, but only for previous/existing customer and my fellow Maverick nuts. My book is keeping me very busy so I'm busy filling orders for Eastwood & Harbor Freight.:bananaman

    Thanks again,
    Tracy

Tracy; clean the trans and put a pan under it, so you can see where it is coming from. Mine has a little leak that drives me nuts. It is in the shift arm, and I don't want to pull the pan and valve body to get it done. Gonna put in an AOD one of these days. I need to send you a set of valve covers to coat for me, with the MAV emblem in them. How much?
    Take care,

    Hi Tracy,

The stuff you powder coated chrome for me under the hood is still looking good. Lots of comments at car shows. I might be contacting you to do some more things for me. Welcome to the board. Put some pictures of your car here. We love pictures. Good luck on finding your tranny leak.(y)
