The good news is you found the right place for frendship, help, and guidence. The bad news is there are no floor pans made for these cars. In fact, there aint much of anything made for these cars. But then, if it was easy, it would be a dime a dozen chevy or mustang.

    Oh, by the way, welcome!!!

Welcome,,,unless the floors are gone, why not get some sheet metal and fix them that way.

    Welcome

Welcome to the best forum on the web! Just been here myself a couple a days and have already learned a lot just by reading the posts here; you can too. If you are good with sheet metal and a welder or know somebody that is, shouldn't be to big a problem to patch the pans but make sure you seal them when you finish welding them or the rust beetles will attack again!:smash: I like to paint them with a good coat of paint then fiberglass over the entire area. I don't know what others would say about doing this but it has always worked for me. The next time I do a set of floor pans I am going to try some of the rust encapsulater paint that The Eastwood Company sells. Also heard that a product called POR-15 works really well. Good luck and have fun with that FORD!
A good spray or brush on undercoating will seal the bottom side, have heard of guys using the spray on bedliner stufff they use on pickups with good success.:)

Hopefully the floors can be fixed........parts are becoming more available for our cars....but floors are not there for us...yet!

Welcome to the board.:) As others have said, replacement floor pans are not yet made for our cars. Unless you can do it yourself, you need to find someone who can fabricate new pans out of sheetmetal and weld them in. There are'nt too many Mavericks out there that don't have a patch or two in the floor pans. But then, I live in winter road salt country, so rotten floors are fairly common here.:(

My comet has no patches in the floors, nor does it need them :)
