    I just wanted to say that I wish that I had known about this forum when I first bought my 1974 Maverick about a year ago! Some of your Mav's are incredible! I had no idea there was such a following for these cars. My Dad told me that Mavericks were the Ford Escort of the 70's, which made me sad...I prefer to think of her as a subtle hotrod =).

    Any way I just wanted to throw my two cents in.
