I bought this about 2 weeks ago. It's a 1971 Maverick Non-grabber. It has a numbers matching 302 V8 and is a Floor shift automatic (from the factory, is what i was told). The car was originally Purple with a black roof, from what i can see

It sat from 1997 to early this year, when a local guy that buys and parts out mavericks. He got this one, but it was too complete to rip apart, So i bought it.

I was told that it needs a Carb, Distributor, and Battery to run. But, after buying it i have added Battery cables, Battery plate, Both Radiator hoses, and various other small things to the list of crap that needs to be done before it should maybe start.

It used to have a vinyl top, But that has since decayed and needs attention bad (Next step, once it runs). It also needs various restoration (new steering wheel, door panels, etc). And the whole car needs stripped and repainted, because someone got a little bondo happy in places.(driver fender is the worst.)

I paid $840. $800 for the car, $40 to convince him to sell it to me and remove it from ebay (I originally found the car on craigslist, and when i emailed the seller, he told me it was on ebay now.)
