Found the site through a Michigan member named Shawn with a sweet Grabber green Mav.

I am actually a Torino owner but my buddy is trading me a 351c for his 70 6Cyl car. I have a bunch of other cars so this one gets parted. Too rough to restore I believe. Ill get some pics up and be taking orders in the next couple weeks. Don't think bad of me for joining just to gut a car. I want to see this car's parts back in the "Maverick circle of life" more than making a buck.
With any luck someone will be able to finish a project with whatever I can't use.

I am looking forward to studying up on Mavericks.

my ride (my wag in the background too)

    :Welcome:

Think bad of you? Hardly. I appreciate you takeing the time to register on this board and offer any good parts the car may have left. So many people just junk them with alot of good perfectly good parts still on them. Parts for these cars sure aren't getting any easier to find.

    Nice Torino!!

    Thanks Guys!!!!!
My car is a 70 hardtop from Scottsdale AZ. It was a butterscotch color roller with white vinyl. No rust except some pitting under the vinyl. I ended up putting a 460 .030 over in it from a Lincoln dressed up as a faux CJ. Its a C6 2800 stall with a 9" 3:50 gear. Soon to get a trac loc and 31 spline axles. No track time yet. Lots of little bits to finish but for now I am just enjoying some road time. Car has buckets and console with a rim blow wheel. Wheels are American racing Stic5s 245/15 rear 235 fronts.
2.5" exhaust with H pipe and Dyno max ultra flows (I hate their sound though) Hooker supercomp 6115s. It is the same body as the 70 1/2 Falcon

The wagon is a 70 with an 89 5.0/AOD. It is a GREAT highway car. A buddy did all the mechanicals and he has talent. I bought it as a daily winterbeater but discovered its just too nice. It has 17" 03 Cobra Rs on it. I think I may sell it soon to someone who wants to do up a wag. I also have a running 68 Fairlane vert/ 302 auto. Its my next project.

Hopefully I'll get the mav next week. I know it has a good grill, fenders and hood. Maybe 1 good quarter and a perfect inst cluster. I need the C4 and
steering box. Trunk may be OK too. Pinchwelds seemed OK. Hopefully it will all come together soon. Pix to follow!

I've seen Shawn and his car around for a few years. It is a GREAT car.
    Very well assembled and detailed.
Nice guy who pointed me here.
Thanks for the interest in my junk!

You should wander down to Indiana on September 9 for the Maverick Comet Club International (MCCI) Mini-meet in Markle, Indiana....just south of Ft. Wayne. It is being held at a Mustang and Ford Show, and there will be lots of Fairlanes and Torinos there because the Fairlance Club of America (FCA) is also holding a mini-meet.
