Hi yall. I recently bought a 73 comet 4 door with a 250 inch motor. Everything is stock. Just a little background on me. The reason for my name being bugman114, is because i have four aircooled vw beetles. I have a 1960 baja bug, a 1961 sand rail, a 1971 bug with a 1929 mercedes benz gazelle kit body, and a 1974 super beetle. Anyway, this car is actually my brothers, but since he knows nothing about cars, i am the guy who will be doing all of the work on it. I hope working on this car will be as fun as working on bugs. I only wish parts for comets were as cheap as beetles, that would be awsome.

There are a bunch of us here in GA. We have a couple of big meets a year that usually draw 10-15 Mavericks/Comets, and we usually have smaller "meet and eats" every couple of months or so. Our last big meet was at Fun Ford at the Atlanta Dragway back in June. We're planning to have another big meet this fall, I think the consensus is it will be Moultrie, GA during the swap meet down there. The member Terry Hawkins (Hawkco) is right near you in Rex, GA a few miles from I-675.
