    Hola from north Mexico!

Not Mexican, Swede... I ended up here because of a señorita :tiphat:

Im currently owning a Chevy Caprice Coupé -82, but looking into buying a more sporty coupé. Mustangs are too common, Camaros too ugly:hide: but the Maverick is just the perfect blend, a small and very sporty looking car from the right era.

Will need some tips on what to look for/avoid. Im ofcourse on the hunt for a V8. I have good mechanical abilities and resources and Im aiming to get a well used one to restore. Just driving aint that fun.

    Thanks for welcoming me here!

    Roger

If possible I´d share some heat. 35 Celsius and these lovely sandstorms with even hotter winds...

    Thanks!
Anyone out there with a complete car but in need of restoration - Im interested.
Went to a local car show today and found a few Mavericks and some Mustangs. Only the Mustang for sale though. Just love the sound of that 302!!!

We´re currently planning on moving to Mexicali. Hope to be on our way within a month or two. Will be alot easier to go shopping in US then. Especially parts are hard to find in Mexico. And the shipping from US is just loco!

I guess Ur reffering to the humidity? I know, its in that lovely zone.
But I have no problem with that, I like humidity! I have problems with dry air and breathing at the same time...

There certainly is, they built a load of them here. You see them almost every day, 2 or 4 doors.

Hmm, come to think of it. Noone mentioned an amount of money I should pay for a complete running Maverick. I want one for restoration. No fancy thing, need to have something to do at my time off...
