what kind of interest is there for holley 4777-2 650 double pumper.
still has the choke plate in place, and the duel feed fuel line.
This belongs to my father in law and maybe for sale soon.

That looks a lot like what I have. I would be willing to buy it if the price is right. Mine has the choke tower removed.

It would be nice to use that one and put mine up for parts or rebuild. I paid only $30 for the one I have, but I would think it is worth a bit more than that.

I sold a car to get mine. This one LOOKS pretty good. And condidering the fact that you took the time to not lay it on its throttle shaft linkages, it may just need the screws checked and bolt it down... does look like it went through a few hickups tho. I say it could be a jewl of a find for someone. I dont need it but it sure would be nice to have

That is the general understanding around here... it's not for sale yet anyway. If you want it, pm him your intrest so he don't forget or miss you. Just a suggestion...
I was simply commenting so don't worry about me.

Also, I thought I was first before on another deal. I was told that a pm got to him before my post, so maybe you didn't speak up first .
Spork is fair and when the time comes he will let us/you know what is happening.

Would you know if the carb bowls have BB style accel pumps, or umbrella style?

    Being a '-2' I would guess BB...
But if it had umbrella bowls installed some time in it's life, I'd be interested.

That said, since it is not actually for sale, this is all just talk... to help you "gauge interest".

If it has BB bowls, I'll pass.

    My .02
    Dave

My opinion there is 'too bad, so sad!'...
Always get in line publicly first!
    Then you can PM away.
Just my opinion, but in the end, I guess it's up to the seller.

Guess maybe you didn't read it right...
That was what happened. I was in line "publicly" first... I would say that "too bad, so sad" is that there may have been some favortism involved. So, "too bad, so sad" this person is a dh by my standards. Good thing I don't remember who he is
