Anyone know if a 65/66 Mustang's hood cowl weather strip is the same size? Or at least longer, then I could cut to fit the Grabber. Just wondering.

At one time, we use to use the Mustang ones, but you had to pull all the clips out, and move them. So you'd see the holes where they once were, overall it's cheaper to just buy the Maverick one.
It's tough, when Mustang parts are cheaper, but if we don't support the Maverick suppliers, they won't continue to produce new Maverick parts. Some Mustang parts are a direct swap, some are not, which sucks :(

Because they are not that hard to find, if you would slow down, and read the responses to your posts, you'd figure that out.

Received my weather strips from Autokrafters! Had to wait on the 63 Fairlane's though, hence the longer wait. Gunna looook gooood when I get 'em on!
    Thanks again everyone!

Is the 70/72 cowl strip available yet ?? Or just the 73/77 .... I had to cut down the 73/77 style and move the clips to fit it on my 71 ..... PITA ...

It's a cash for clunkers conspiracy. By getting those cars off the road it killed global warming and made it too cold for all the people who still have gas guzzlers to work on their cars. My hat is off to their genius :tiphat:

    on a more serious note...
i didn't even know our cars were supposed to have that piece
    is it important?
