Hood rust...how much is too much?

    I have a Grabber hood and you can see from the pictures it has a lot
    of rust. How far gone is this hood in peoples opinion?. Not sure if I
    should try to fix it or not. Thanks...Don

    i've seen worse. just depends on how much time and effort you want to put into it. if it was me i'd save it. good luck.:)

    They aint making them in steel anymore so I'd fix them.

    We've fixed worse than that. It can be done. You just need to find someone who will be willing and able to do the repairs. As hard as the Grabber hoods are to find in any shape, I would keep it and fix it.

    naw...it's too far gone.better get rid of it...to me!:) just kidding.like dennis said they're not made anymore,and only getting rarer by the day.it can be fixed.

    A little rusted grabber hood is better then no grabber hood.It could be fixed.

    Don, I don't know, I would sell it to me and I'll save it for some day when it can be fixed:D , Really that is easily fixable, Daves hood was in worse shape but it took a nice flat hood donor to supply the patch material.

    The hood on my Stallion was waaaaaaaaaaaaay worse than that. That is a pretty nice hood in my opinion.
