Look at what's on the Power Tour. I think our car might double in the near future. You better get those spare parts before we want be able to pay for them later. Also had 1 Comet, 1 Maverick, & 1 black & green Grabber from a group called CAMEO. Sorry no pics, they came late because they had a problem with one the shocks. They were a few hours behind & my camera batteries had went down. Think one of the guy's were named Chip. We did talk a long time though. He has a EFI AFR headed 347 with a Tremec. 22 miles to the gal. the other 2 were killers also. Came in behind one another & everyone was looking & pointing.

I just got back from there myself. Not many cars were left when I got there as I had to work all day...but of the 50 or so guys left, there was some REALLY nice stuff, including that Maverick. Met a couple guys from Kentucky; one was in a cobra kit car with a 385 series BBF and someone with him had another car with a blown 460. Neat stuff. Wish I could go back tomorrow (have to work again!) Maybe I can make it to the cruise in the evening.
Will the cars still be at the Arkansas State Fair Grounds today? On there schedule it just says Friday June 8th?
the CAMEO group are locals down here, chip is the club pres and the 3 cars belong to him and his kids. really nice group. their cars are top notch. several have 347's and a few have 351's. he also has step by step instructions on how to close the cowl and weld in flat metal on his web site. just type in cameo into youre searchengine and it should lead you to them. glad everyone had a good time on the cruise.
Pro Tour Pics Ran down to the Fair Grounds to take a look. Looked at the 3 cars displayed by the Cameo Club. They are very nice cars. All 3 had done the Cowl Mod.

I talked to a guy at a car show today, he was in Cleveland for the start and drove to Kalamazoo in the pouring rain. He was surprised at the Mavericks and Comets showing up. Awesome pic's!!
