I keep trying to show the same picture on a second thread, maybe a pic that I posted a few months ago, but when I try to upload it (often not remembering if it is uploaded already, or not) I get the error "this picture is already attached to thread XXX" or similar.

Is there a way to make the picture show again on a different thread or do I have to copy the link to the old thread for others to see the picture?

You can link to your existing attachments from your user CP. Once you find the attachemnt you are looking for, right click on it and copy the link and then paste the link in your thread. It would be easier to do this if you had to browser windows open.

Click on the picture you want in the other thread ... and copy the link to it ... on a Mac I just right click and select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS .. on a Windoze machine you might have to do a right click ... get image properties and then copy the image link from there ...

Then in advanced select in insert image icon ...

    and this ...

    http://mmb.maverick.to/attachment.php?attachmentid=15376

    Turns into this ...

I think it comes out full size, just depends on the pixels of the picture. Mine came up about half the screen.

Dan's pictures are always hugh. Maybe its a Mac thing. I went by Dave's instructions and got the above results. Just wondering if there is another way to get the full size picture.

nah, he just knows the limit of pixels allowed and always submits his pics at that size.:p:D

you copied the thumbnail, open the pic to the larger version and copy it from there (if you have a larger version on that pic posted)
