    Hello all,

I'm prepping my '76 for paint, and it has the monstrous bumpers. I wish to paint the rubberish bumper extensions front and rear the body color. Will I need to take the bumpers off in order to remove the extensions? If so, is it tricky? They look pretty darn heavy.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

    Liam McDermott.

You don't have to take the bumpers off.
The back ones have small bolts on them, going into the trunk, all along the bottom of the tail light panel, and down the sides. It's been a long time since I removed a front, but I think it just attaches to each fender...
The bumpers, arn't that heavy, it'll be the bolts that you'll have the issue with, if it's a Canadian car.

Thank you, that is exactly what I was hoping for.
