Hey guys I just finished my 1970 maverick. It is currently carburated, It have a 302 roller motor from a 1989 5.0, I am getting all the parts together to make it fuel injected. Was wondering How have you guys plumbed the fuel return for these? Is there a simple way of doing this?

I've heard of using the steel vent tube as a return, but I haven't done it myself yet. I plan too eventually.

In 1970 they had 2 different tank designs.
If your car is a California car, it is quite possible you have the tank with the vapor system in the top left corner. Your going to need to run another line for the return and may need to install a fitting into the tank.

It's a California car. It has a drop in style tank like the mustangs do. So I can just use the vent line? Just plumb the return straight into the vent line?

I've heard of using the vent line for a return, also I have a bunch of high performance injection parts on my 91 mustang engine i am putting in my mav.I am switching to a carb setup and have no use for them and it's all under a year old.
