How do you remove the side trim?

    I removed the side trim, but there are little rivets(?) sticking out, and they look terrible. Can I just grind them down? And if I can grind them down, what should i do about the holes at the end of the trim pieces? I really don't like the trim, but if it's too hard to remove the traces of, I'll deal. :cry: It doesn't have to look perfect, just nicer than it does now.

    I used a Dremel w/cutoff wheel. Weld up the holes with a mig wilder.
