Well I can think of no better way to spend a Sunday than working on something for the Mav. So I decided to finish the grill today because the heat index is up around 108. So I figured something to do in the house would be good.
I started out with a grill from a 72 LDO with sport lamps, got a broken grill with a good center for a 70 from a member here. I cut out the center piece from the 70 and cut the 72 grill the same so it would fit. I cleaned up all the chrome trim and repainted the bezels black where it had worn off. I also installed the new lenses and some new bulbs to top it off. The end result is more than I could have ask for. Something that should have been on the production line all along I think.
I think it will add one more piece of custom to the 72 Grabber build.
    What do you guys think

Very nice (y), I believe Ford should have made this style as well. I have been wanting to make one like that for some time now

I did that back when I had my 77. I just notched the center medallion mount so it slid right on the grill. I thought it was different but too busy for my taste so I took it back off. I still have that center piece in the garage somewhere.
