should i wait to fire up the engine? After it has been sprayed with enamel, the can saiys it takes 7 days to cure.So would it be safe to fire it up in 7 days or should i give it a few more days?In the meantime i will be re wiring the car again to clean all the grounds and add some for AUX stuff and more gauges...
I'll bet you still have your "Do not remove under Penalty of Law" tag on your mattress. How can you resist? Crank 'er up! (IMO)
I i guess i got the wrong one then, this one said it takes 3 hours to dry to the touch, but even after 4 1/2 hours i left a finger print on it when i sprayed a model car. this is the color i'm painting my mav
i'd wait at least a couple of more months. might want to make sure. course if it was today at my house it would cure in 1/2 hour. supposed to be 115 today.
start it up. the heat will help cure the paint. heck i started mine with no water. only for a couple of seconds.
i was 107 yesterday it was duplicolor Cool thanks for the info. I'll even record it i'm going to be cutting off the y- pipe so i'll be the first time the mav has dual exhaust.
mix-up Oops i got the cans mixed up, The acrylic enamel says 3 hours to touch and 7 days to cure. The engine enamel says 1 hour to touch and 5 days to cure.
