How many Sprints were produced?

    Does anyone know how many ford made in 1972 Sprint six cylinder?

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    There were roughly 15,400 Sprints made...As for how many were 6 cyl...:huh:

    Even a deluxe Marti report won't help you on the engine/Sprint combo. It will only tell you how many engine/transmission codes match up for all Mavericks built in 1972. For instance, it will say there were 30,060 Mavericks built with a 250-IV and C-4 transmissions built, not Sprint specific.
