Ok, here's the deal. I don't have a headliner at all, my ceiling is just bare metal, I guess the headliner was ripped out a long time ago. So where would I go and how much do you think I would pay to get a replacement headliner?

m.s.b., do you have the bows and two piller clips for the liner? if not you will need them also. headliner installed about $100 ..frank...:bananaman :bananaman
p.s. are you aware the front and back glass will have to be pulled.

no I was not aware that the glass had to be pulled. Seeing all of this I might just paint the ceiling black to match my interior.

You don't HAVE to pull the glass....it just makes for a neater installation. A shop can tuck and jam the headliner in behind your rubber seal if necessary.

No i don't think it will look that bad just painting it..thats what i am going to do. Headliners go un noticed most of the time. I had mine redone in my compact/show car and no one ever comments on it....paint it and snap some pics...

Having no headliner is great as long as you don't drive in the rain too much. Have you ever been in a tin building while it was raining? That's what it will sound like from inside the car. LOUD! Of coarse you could just crank up the radio.:)

my plan for headliner replacement is to glue padded vinyl to ceiling, place the rib bars over the top of the vinyl after painting them black to match whatayathink?
