How much fluid?

    Gona change out the tranny fluid on my 74 before turnning it over to my son. I've got a new filter and gasket. I"m not sure how much fluid to pick up, and should I go with type "F"? Oh yea I thinks the tranny is a c4

    The capacity of a c4 is 9 quarts so youd be ok with 6 or 7 quarts

    If you have any trouble finding Type F, I get it at Autozone. No one else arond here seems to carry it.:)
