Welp driving around town with the T-5Z and 4.11's with my motor in my sig.

first and second gear anymore than half throttle and the car spins the tires pretty crazy like. :hmmm: I don't think my car has that much power. I am getting new 4 leaf springs soon I have stock 6 cyl. springs and slapper bars. I get zero wheel hop. Third gear seems to get traction but the first two are useless.

So I have Diamondback 225 tires. I was trying to find a 275-55-16 tire.

My wheel offset is unknown but I do not have much room to the springs. More than likely could fit a 255ish without too much issue once I get the new springs.

For a 275 probably need a 1" spacer or so.

    How wide should I go?

    For my setup.

Also should I get a set of slicks? They are insanely expensive at damn near 250$ a pop!

    What tire would you recommend?

you should be able to fit a 255 with out any modifications like rolling the fender lips. a 275 usually requires the fender lips to be rolled and may need the fender lip pushed out some.

I cannot find a 275-50 or 55 in a 16" aside from a true slick. I am pretty sure I would need spacers with my wheels since I only have about 1" to the leaf springs as is.

I say go as wide as you can. You should be able to fit 255's no problem. You may not think it is much of a difference, but it is noticable. I used to run 295's(Nitto 555's btw) on my Cobra Mustang. Now I run 285's and I can tell the difference. I will go back to the 295's.:yup:
