I'm sure most of you have seen this since it's all over the internet...but those who haven't. http://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/scores-chevys-hidden-50-years-finally-sale-160911547.html
Demolition Derby?? Is she nuts? Some of those cars are still pretty good, even if they've sat outside.
I would love to have the green station wagon in this vid. [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cp-zZcS_sGM"]Lambrecht Video 2 - YouTube[/nomedia]
It's too bad that some of those cars have deteriorated to the shape they are in now. Many are nothing but parts cars now, especially the four door used ones. The more popular 2 doors and all the tri-five Chevys will bring pretty good prices if they are restorable. Lots of good rod material there, too. The ones that were kept inside will probably bring unreal prices. As for the demo derby talk, sadly, that's about all those big late model Impalas are worth, or parts cars. Not a real big market for big four doors. And who would want a new Vega or Citation? Not many folks. I would love to have one of those new 64 pickups, or one of the 64 Impalas or the Vette. One of my great uncle's bought a 64 Chevy pickup brand new, and kept it until he died in 2010. It was his only vehicle that whole time. It had a six in it, he never had to build it, I don't know how many miles it had but he drove it a lot. He had it painted in about 80-85 back in the original blue and white. His son got it, and never drives it. It's been stored in a building since just before his death.
