Ok folks, Ive made a command decision. Instead of doing the v-8 swap, I have decided to pull the 250 in my comet and build it, using the 6=8 concept. The car is rock solid, so I figure, why the heck not? Either way, Im gonna spend a ton! Might as well use the original engine! While I have it out, will be a good time to get the rear end geared at 3.50, blast and paint the engine compartment, as well as rebuild the c-4 and instal the shift kit, with a 2800 stall converter. I've already completed the interior, with the exception of getting the new door glass runs in there!By spring It'll be a totally different car! Any of you performed this on your Mav or is everyone a die hard V-8 fan here?

I'm still waiting on someone to start a "budget" turbo 200 or 250 inline 6 project...would really open your eyes to how much torque those little 6's will make!
