Rick, you da man!!!!!!!! Totally cool and you made the right decision. What is it about these cars that we feel compelled to own several? Dan
Thx fellas, I've known about this car for over a year, but the sellers description on collector car trader online was terrible... when i saw it on ebay I called and spoke with him, slept on it, then negotiated a price, he pulled the ebay listing and I picked it up today. It suffers from an identity crisis...it's actually a 72 Comet...which is what I will put it back to. It is a beautiful car.
Man, sweet deal!! And a wise decision!! I'd say it was due to good taste...... That car is beautiful!!!! I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!Congrats on your find!!! Preston
How bout at the Roundup?...you said you were comin next year and I'm holdin your feet to the fire on it...the car will be ready in about a week but I'm takin the Mav this year. Of course I could bring it to the FFW...IF your gonna be ready
Rick that is awesome!! Good deal and I hope all goes well with it, might we see it at the round up? That would be "plum crazy".
At next year's Round-Up, we'll have a race of the street machines. The drag car may be ready at next April's FFW. I'm looking to run in either of these two classes at FFW: http://www.funfordevents.com/index....es&id=20&submenu=Rules&view=Rules&pos=0,20,13 http://www.funfordevents.com/index....es&id=28&submenu=Rules&view=Rules&pos=0,20,13
Ward it's gonna be race ready by Roundup but not street legal so i'm bringing the Mav...but bank on it next year...legal or not. This is one of those cars pics just don't do it justice
Rick ,I saw it on ebay the other day and I saw your name as High bidder. I didn`t say anything here ,but It didn`t take me long to figure out what you were planning for the new engine Congrats on your new car and I cant wait to check it out at the next FFW .:bananaman
