I don't have my Maverick as of yet, so I'm just getting info on some mods I'd like to do. I hate to say this...but would any year Pinto dash fit in a Maverick? Out of that era of cars (MustII, Mav, Pinto) it seems that those cars were fitted with more pleasing dashes, you know, glove box, placement of controls -etc...while our cars were just bare bones. I don't really want to get into customizing my dash or building one from scratch unless this can't be done, so I was wondering if this would be an alternitive?
I know maverick_maniac told me about how to put a mustang dash into a maverick said it fits right in i do not know the exact details. You can search "maverick_maniac" on ebay and he might help you he doesnt come to the forum anymore.
Thanks 73Mav..... A 65-66 dash would look cool...but I might have a line on an old Pinto for darn near free so I thought I'd ask the board about it.
yeah 71...you thinkin along those lines too? another question is how do I measure to see if it will fit?
i was hopeing someone had already done it. im sure it's possible. i know a guy that stuck a corvette dash in a 82 peterbuilt. so anything is possible. if you gt info i love to hear about it. my dash is plain jane. no ac and a pack try under. whats amav to do?
X'3! plus they are one of the few 70's cars that have round gauges, instead of the ugly rectangular ones...
