I"m having problems with my lights

    a few days ago i started to have some lighting problems. I've changed my light switch checked all of my fuses,and fusabe links.Nothing has changed the only lights that will come on are dome, bilnkers,and hazards:huh:

    check for ground wires. also check to see if both headlights burnt out at once, it happened to me before,both just went out! I think there is a headlight relay under the dash, you might want to check it for sure.

    where at under the dash and yes they did burn out at the same time how did you fix it

    How did you check those fusable links? I dont think your getting power to the switch. It comes directly from the battery through that link.

    If just the headlights didn't work I'd check your dimmer switch, but that wouldn't affect your markers :hmmm:

    Dome, blinkers and hazzards dont go through the switch. All the other lights do. Since you replaced the switch, it has to be your not getting power to it. You need to get a volt meter and do some electrical troubleshooting. I'm betting it has something to do with that fusable link or the way it is wired because of the amp gague you have installed.

    thanx guys i had to tear the dash apart to find four wires melted together now that a fuseable link for ya any reason ya know of why they would do that
