    I am reading for the first time the part about "71-77 Mercury Comet" when I have a '64. Can I get help and information here or is there another site more suited to my year Comet?

    Well first ....... :Welcome:.......... to the forum.

    This is a site dedicated to the 70's era Comet ...... but many like yourself do end up here. So we have a sub-forum for your older Comet cars. There not many guys that hang out there, but it can help you out.

    Thanks for the big welcome. You make a guy feel right at home. I'm glad my neighbor found this site for me. He's almost as excited about my new Comet as I am.

    I like the 64-65 Comets and Falcons - I looked for one 20 years ago in decent shape but couldn't find any around :)

    I am still getting used to the grill/head light look of the '64 but the rear end/tail lights are so sweet! My dad had a '65 Cyclone (I found out after I bought the '64 Caliente). I wish he were here to help me fix this one up! I would appreciate a good set of pictures of the engine bay of a '64 Comet. Do you know where I could glimpse one?

    :Welcome:From sunny San Jose.
    I had a 64 Cyclone with factory 4spd and built 289 some almost 30 years ago. It was a drag car and I made it into a street/drag car.
    Here is a picture of the car after I bought it, and the engine bay;
