I need help idenifying / locating this part.

    Firstly, I just bought new upholstery and carpet which will be installed soon. So relax on the bashing! Anyhow, I'm honestly not sure what this thing is called or where I could find it. There's a good crack right in the middle and it needs replacing. Can anyone help? Interior.jpg

    That is called a package tray, look in the classifieds.

    '72 Maverick, 347 c.i., w/ dual quads, TKO 600 5-speed transmission, back halved w/ 4-link, '16 F150, 5.0 Coyotte, regular cab, shortbed, lowered 3/5 & 1-owner '79 Trans Am.
    It is called a package tray and to my knowledge they are not available new anywhere. Place an ad in the parts wanted section here for one that someone needs to sell.
