I am in need of some info for my project. When i bought my 75 mav it had the front fenders and i assume them to be the original big bumper fenders. Now i like the look of the small 70-73 bumpers. I can get those in fiberglass, along with the splash guards and other parts from up22. The car had a grille inside it that wasnt installed. If i change the fenders do i need new 70-73 headlight bezels and grille or will mine work. Let me know if i am forgetting anything. Thanks GUys. Big BLock Mav------

You dont have to change the fenders. You can either notch them like the earlier cars to clear the stone guard or you can notch the stone guard to go around the fenders. The grill and head light doors are the same. I wrote an article on swapping small bumpers to big bumper cars. Let me know your email address and I'll send you a copy of it.

I thought you were needing psycological help - putting a 532 c.i. in your Maverick! :D

Man, you have GOT to keep us posted.

Have we seen pics of your car yet? (sorry, I have oldtimers disease).

Good luck with the bumper change - it should look great.

Your grille and bezels will work. They all fit pretty much the same. It should be interesting when it's done. By all means, keep us in the loop.

I will get some pics up of the car. It aint much to look at right now but maybe some of you guys can respect a project car. And the 532 big block was originally going in my 78 bronco before i wrecked it. SO i guess yeah it is a little crazy. Thanks Big BLock Mav
