I promise I'm not hating, but your exhaust tubing looks a little restrictive...

I don't know what it looks like, but it's 2 1/4". I got a deal on the mufflers so that's what I used. I am sure 2 1/2" would better, but I'm sure 3" would be overkill.

You might pick up some mph with larger pipes.. You have good engine parts otherwise. You should be low 13's with your setup + slicks. I went 14.02 @ 101mph in my Mustang with a 5 speed, 3.55 gears, true radial tires and stock E7TE ported heads and stock 5.0 intake and 65mm t/b and shortie headers, h-pipe and 2.5" mufflers with turndowns.

You'd better change the heading of this post to I want 12's...because I predict you will be in the low 13's right away. With a 101-102 MPH you should be in the 13.20's if your hooking up. Good luck!

Your time is about right for that mph unless you are running slicks... I was running 14.9 at 96mph in a stock 1990 Mustang GT hatch, 5 speed, with poor traction. If you were on street tires you should be high 13's with slicks.

The conversion is: ET=1353/MPH...so for 95.53 you should be running 14.16, based on the conversion, which we all know is perfect.

Yeah I figured at least one person would think that. :bouncy:

Besides, this is in the drag racing forum, that would have been in the cosmetic forum. :90:
