I wanted to make a mavstang out of a 72 maverick that needs nose work and a 69 mustang nose (I need to pick one up when I get more money) I was wondering if a 69 mustang was wider than a maverick? And would it be possible to mix the two? I dont want to put the stang nose on and it look like a wide body kit. I drew a picture of what a maverick would look like with a 69 stang nose on it. It looked ok to me. I'll have to post it when I get the time. Also I was tossing around the idea of it having the 69 stangs side body lines molded in. I guess if the 69 stang wont work I would then like to try a 67 / 68 stang nose. Any one know how to do it? Got pics of how?:yahoo:

do it from what I know it will bolt on but the rear fender lines and body line need massaged on the fenders. I think it is the same width, but the wheel lips are flared instead of going in like on mavericks

i dont know if the 69 mustang nose fit. i have a 69 mustang, and side by side the mustang looks longer. i think it will look great with the 1967 shelby nose, its a bit diferent to a normal 67 mustang, they sell kits for this. i have the bug to build a Mavstang, but maybe in a couple of years. install 67 door skins, they are cheap, http://www.cobranda.com/doorskins.html, and the quarter panels skins also, that way you will have the mustang flares, and the side scoops.
