Is there anyone who can help me start a new chapter where i am ,i live now in the fraser valley (abbotsford,b.c). I was thinking of
(FVMCG)(Canada )Fraser Valley Maverick Comet Group. It would cover a area from Vancouver B.C to hope.B.C and our home track to race at would be Mission Raceway(Mission B.C). This area would cover about 250 klm(3 million) people with the track being just about in the middle . I already know of about 8 to 10 people that have cars and would join right away and i think i could get as many as 20 in the first 6 months. If anyone thinks this can be done ,call me at 604 853-7918 or pm me or Email me at hy_flowvox@yahoo.com

Don't forget the NMCC which we are trying to get started in Ontario, but anyone anywhere with a Maverick or 70's Comet can join, we just need to work out the details.:tiphat::thumbs2:[IMG]

I think it would be a good idea for the MCG to have regional groups with organized regional events along with the national gathering and events, I think it would get more members and keep more members interested and active as these cars seem to be gaining in popularity.

    I agree!
There has been talk of doing that.....we are way to small to have state reps, but we have talked about regional's.
One thing you will learn with the MCG is if you have an idea, bring it :D we are all about promoting these cars, promoting the MCG and making new friends.

I made this statement in E-town at our first club meeting and I still feel the same way today:
I would rather have a membership base of 50 people and all 50 be active, than to have a membership base of 300 and have little to no activity.

    ps:
You will learn with the MCG that the "powers to be"......is you and the rest of the members :thumbs2:
