    Greetings from Brazil!!

I'm a brazilian Maverick owner and need some help from you americans if possible. I've bought here an automatic floor shift to install in my Mav but it didn't match with car's console. So I guess that maybe could be an american Maverick ou classic Mustang part. If you guys won't be able to identify this part I'll presume that it to be some super rare version used only without the console. It's very similar with some Mustang shifts but the selector is always different. I attached a photo of this part but I not sure if will work...

Thanks everybody and sorry by the "english"...

    Alexandre

That is a Maverick floor-shifter. Pintos and Mustang-IIs had the same shifter, as well as some Granadas. Mustangs and Torino's has a curved shifter , while the ones like in your picture are straight...

I'm searching in american sites and in Ebay and until now I didn't get a positive identification. The closest one is the Mustang II, but I coudn't see a clear picture of the floor shifter. Still trying...

    Thanks again guys.

FYI ... USA Maverick never had center consoles ... so you guys probably had something different down there ...

Well guys, I think the mistery is over... This auto floor shifter looks like to be from the MUSTANG II. Take a look at the pictures I've got (the first one is the better).

They are the same as Maverick, just the bezel is different. The linkage that goes with it may be different as well, not sure...

Hey Dan, is the 71-73 Mustang bezel the same as the Maverick bezel or is the 69-70?
