In my 70 mav I still have the factory bucket seats. underneath of the driver's seat there is some interesting wiring, coming out of the seat itself. there is a old style plug too, kinda like a receiver or something. ill take a picture and post it, but would anyone have a clue to what it is? maybe the previous owner was trying to put in some seat heater or something.

    No...they did not.

If your car is a 1970, then somebody has added bucket seats to the car.

I bought 73 Mach 1 seats for my car and there was a harness with a plug connected to a wire strip under the seat frame. I believe it was for the seat belt warning system when you sat down in the seat.

No factory bucket seats in a 1970 Maverick Grabber.

could be for another car like a mustang and have the solenoid in the back that unlatches the seat so yu can tip it foward when you open the door, It was a courtesy option on other fords
