I was wondering if somone could give me th name of the style of seat material thats in my car.I have heard of different ones (comfort weave etc...) just need to know if there is a special name for mine.I'm looking to get the front seat redone but would like to get the same pattern as original SMSautofabrics claim to have original material for any car but they need the style it is.Oh i know the color is blue but does that have a special name also? I agree its a GM term but that seems to be how everyone referres to it instead of 2 color plaid.May be correct term may not be,I would bet its correct though.I wouldnt mess with ya man.(much)
Cool,i just need to replace the "Houndstooth"" on the bottom cushion so i don't need much. Lesson learned " Do not wipe greasy hands on your ass then get in clean car" Plus there is a small tear on the passenger side.
You can always cut a piece out of the area your going to replace and send it to them to match up. If you don't want to cut yours up, they will also send you a sample if you ask.
I was going to get them to send me a sample but they want to know if it's vinyl or cloth.I'm really not sure what you would call this material.

Derek, If you send me a close up photo of the material I can get the Detroit Body Cloth number for you. SMS can use the number to match the fabric. The fabric should be 54" wide. You will need 2/3 yd to replace both passenger and driver's side inserts. My sample books only go to 1970 but I have access to 71 and up books. Fred
