    I would start of with the suggestion of just replacing it all with new bushings and a 5 lug disc brake swap for the front from another '75+ Maverick or Comet (easiest to acquire). I'd also recommend a 8.8 Explorer rear end if you'd like disc brakes for the rear and want to get into some goodies for a V8 swap or better stopping

    Thanks I've been looking at k members and rack and pinion swap . Old girl had an engine swap about 38 years ago I learned a lot from working on this car . I helped build the motor that's in it now when I was 13 . She has a top loader 4 speed that came out of a Grabber. Thanks car was my ex brother laws it was his pride and joy he was killed in 05 so 11 years later she's mine time for her to come back to life.
