Hi, well I went to the junkyard and found a 1975 maverick v8 nd I saw a belly bar that's right under the oil pan of the v8,and I wanted to know if putting the bar in a 1970 maverick L6 would make a difference in the front suspension

You might have to drill the holes for it. 70 mav didn't have a V8, thus no belly bar that I'm aware of. It helps stabilize the frame rails at the lower shock tower mounting for the extra weight of the 302 so it can only help. It might not clear the oil pan on the I6 but I can't remember if that is the case. It's worth a try.
