I got aggressive with my speedo cable and the metal inner cable came out of it a foot or so. Is there anything special I need to do to get it seated back properly? The cluster is out and I'm just getting things ready to drop it back in.

Hope this is an easy question.

    TIA.

Just push the cable back into the outer conduit. You might need to twist the cable to get it back in.

I was already having gutter-like thought when he said he got to aggressive with it and it came out too far, now you want him to lube it up real good. I'm having such the laugh at this thread now. Thanks Frank!
