found the glass bolted to guide/side window regulator..original pcs must have broken at one time or another trying to remove and installer used bolts/nuts ..it seems to need a plastic bushing on each bolt thru the glass as i mount the glass to slide rail ..is improvise the solution or are the bolt kits available..??has any one used another method to fasten the glass to regulator?? i want it to work without breaking the glass??TIA for your advice!
Hi Gary - there is a plastic attaching bushing that locks in place with a center pin. To remove the bushing you push out the center pin and to lock it back in place you push the pin back in. They can be found with a classified ad here at the forum or on ebay. The bolt thing is not normal. Someone just did that after losing or breaking the plastic bushing. Hope this helps ..............
