We have a 74 Maverick with a 200 I6 and three speed manual (used to). We are installing a 320 with a c4 automatic transmission. It seems that the bell housing is hitting up against the firewall. How do we make this setup fit?

Is it a truck transmission, or 164 tooth bell housing?

Make sure your frame stands aren't backwards.
