After 6 months of a very leaky transmission pan I decided I had enough so I went out to mustangs unlimited and bought this for it: http://mustangsunlimited.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=BM50281+01

Anyone else had experience with this pan?

Also I would like to know the torque settings for the valve body and pan I'm thinking 2 ft/lbs for the valve body and 12 ft/lbs for the pan, Is this correct?

One last thing, I'm not sure how to mount the extra long oil pickup... from the looks of it it attaches to the valve body?

Your torque specs are right on the money. I would use an inch pound torque wrench for the val;ve body and torque it to 24 inch pounds.

Tyler; good luck stopping the leak! I have had one for years, and replaced the pan a year or so ago, and it still leaks. Try looking at the O-ring at the dip stick tube, and see if it needs replacing. The fluid runs along the trans pan rail, and looks just like a pan leak. Good luck,

I installed the pan and pickup Sunday morning. Have put 300 miles on the car since then. So far, so good.
